On March 7 our king Willem Alexander opened the new ‘Huis van de Sport’ in Hoofddorp.

A remarkable sporting facility consisting of 2 professional swimming pools, a recreational pool, a sports hall and gymnasium, altogether occupying an exceptional 19.000 m².

Designed by architects Slangen+Koenis built by Vaessen and Sprangers Construction & fully equipped for the amateur and professional athlete.

78 floating toilets and changing rooms, hard glass see-through routing walls, 266 lockers and 120 m¹ called postforming benches and wardrobes, doors and makeup and baby sheets of Hermeta. With lockers fitted with an ultramodern electronic locking system with finger scan detection.
